Mash Tun will offer 1000 combinations, washed down with twenty four different ales and beer ice cream

The transformation to turn fine dining restaurant King Street Grafene into Mash Tun, a live music venue with real ale and gastro pub food, is complete.

The team behind the new Mash Tun includes Adam Regan (ex-Head Chef of the Ivy Dublin with numerous senior roles in the Gordon Ramsay empire) who also brings his experience of delivering NQ live music venues Port Street bar and Stage & Radio.

Co-owner Scott Martin is a brewer whose building trade expertise has been invaluable in the conversion of Mash Tun.  His passion for real ale is behind his ambition to bring the best selection of local cask and keg ales to King St with twenty four taps on a new pewter long bar at the entrance, running the entire length of the room.

A new live music stage has been built in one corner to be the natural focal point of the room, supported by a fantastic sound system. In another corner is an open glass-fronted cellar with all the different ales on show. The private room remains and sole or partial use of the venue will be available for private hire.

The open kitchen remains in the centre of the room and will serve food all day from a menu including ten different types of sausage and ten variations of mash. The newly appointed head chef is Nick Moore who has previously worked at the Michelin starred Texture Restaurant in Marylebone and for Richard Corrigan in Mayfair. The general manager is Finn Jaradd, ex GM of Randall & Aubin on Bridge St.
