Noughties indie outfit to play eight album anniversary shows - including final night at the Olympia

Remember when Liverpool's indie idols The Zutons reformed for their 'final gig ever' (NME, June 2016)... yeah, well, they're reforming to play a series of anniversary shows in March and April.

To celebrate the 15th anniversary of the release of their double platinum debut album, Who Killed The Zutons, the Mercury Prize-nominated band are reuniting for a rare one-off tour, playing the album in full in Birmingham, Glasgow, Manchester, London, Bristol, Nottingham, Leeds and finally Liverool, at the Olympia, on April 5th.

Frontman Dave McCabe says: “We’ve all been off doing our own thing for a little while, and it’s only with hindsight and a bit of space that you see how special something really is. It’s easy to take things for granted when you’re younger, but now it’s just amazing to think of those songs still having a place in the world, and for people to come and hear us play them again."

Saxophonist Abi Harding said: "Hooooonk".

Tickets go on sale from Ticketmaster on Friday 30th November, from 9am.
