The dance troupe will be body-popping its way into the shopping centre this September (21 – 23)

It may have been ten years since Diversity claimed the Britain’s Got Talent crown, but the body-popping, head-stopping dance extravaganza has shown no signs of slowing down. After seven sell-out UK tours, half a million tickets sold, and countless television and live performances, Diversity have announced another ground-breaking UK tour at intu Trafford centre.

Ashley Banjo and co will be performing their latest dance show ‘Ignite’ at the shopping venue for its twentieth birthday.

Ignite promises to be a street-dance-meets-circus spectacle inspired by the concept of the fire within – the burning passion that lets you achieve more than you ever felt was possible. Whilst circus performance has always had an influence on Diversity’s shows, Ignite will take the inspiration to new heights through a partnership with Gandey World Class Productions, one of the biggest touring circuses in the world. The partnership celebrates 250 years of circus performance, with the show being hosted in a 2000-seat big top tent to give viewers an authentic circus experience.

The dance group first hit our screens in the third series of Britain's Got Talent (2007)

Since the dance troupe won over the crowds of Britain’s Got Talent in 2007, the group have enjoyed a series of live tours and shows whilst creator and choreographer Ashley Banjo has enjoyed a host of presenting jobs.

Top circus performances from across the globe will hit the stage alongside the Diversity crew for an amalgamation of street dance, acrobatics, death defying stunts, magic and feats of impossibility. Awe-inspiring and dramatic, the show promises to leave hungry viewers open to previously believed to be beyond humanly possible and encourage viewers to reconsider their own hopes and aspirations.

The spectacle is one of many events hosted by the Trafford Centre to celebrate twenty years since the shopping venue first opened its doors.
