With skincare, if you find something that works, you should probably stick with it until it doesn’t. That’s how I feel about The Ordinary’s squalane oil; I am now a loyal devotee for life. 100% derived for plants, it is highly moisturising and my dehydrated skin drinks it up like a cactus in the desert. I use it just before my day and night time moisturiser and my skin looks and feels smooth and nourished. You can even use it on your hair. What’s more, it’s only £5.50. Beauty Pro Filt'r Soft Matte Longewear, Fenty Beauty - £26
Such is my admiration for Rihanna’s sense of style, that if the Bajan megastar ever insisted Crocs were making a fashion comeback then damn it, I’m wearing them. Much like with her much-celebrated makeup line, Fenty Beauty. Following last year’s anticipated launch, I now own most of the products. Bias aside, her foundation really is the game-changer many claims it to be. The extensive shade range alone is impressive (I can wear three – unheard of!), but for me it’s the incredible poreless finish of the foundation that really sells the product. It dries matte, with no need for powder to set. My skin looks filtered, luminous and HD. Rihanna, take all my money. This foundation is the business. L'Oréal
Custom Enhancer Drops, Cover FX - £34
It’s best to wear sunglasses when I’ve applied this highlighter – it is blinding. Cover FX illuminator/enhancer drops have been a cult beauty product for a while. It’s a spring/summer must have if you want to fake summer radiance (because lets face it, we’re all a little devoid of vitamin D at this points). Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer, IT Cosmetics - £23.50
I can’t shout about IT Cosmetics enough. This cosmetic line, recently bought by L’Oréal Group, has continued to grow a loyal fan base for it’s highly effective product range. These guys are no bullshitters, their stuff works. Most impressive is there BYE-BYE under eye concealer. Though it’s a full-coverage and thick consistency, I use it every day without fail, and watch it magically blur away all remnants of my sleepless nights, hangovers and bad decisions. With only six shades available, IT Cosmetics shade range does need some work, yet the formulas are very good add adapting to individual skin types. bareMinerals ‘GenNude’ lipgloss - £17
I’ve retired by matte lipsticks in favour of nude lipglosses this spring. Sure, my hair gets caught in my mouth once in a while but my lips still look enticingly shiny. Helping me become a gloss convert is Bare Minerals and its fabulous selection of 'Gen Nude' lipglosses tailored for all skintones. It’s not a sticky, but instead a creamy and slightly plumping consistency. I wear shade ‘tantalise’ and have been so impressed by how well this gloss flatters my skin - L'Oréal
